100 Days at Sea Update History & What's Next
The current official event, the next scheduled window, and the verified patch trail from launch — without turning badge names or event teasers into invented mechanics.
The verified 100 Days at Sea update timeline
- Nov 2025Launch
100 Days At Sea releases from Stranded Devs — officially inspired by 99 Nights in the Forest, moved onto a raft.
- June 2026Ice Region update
Frozen waters arrive as a major content drop (the Ice Mage class joins the shop alongside it). Confirmed by multi-channel update videos.
- ~June 27, 2026Codes system
The CODES button appears (top-left of screen) with the first-ever code, 20Pearls. Codes have run on ~2–3 week lifespans since.
- Early July 2026Alien Invasion event
The alien event lands, paired with the ALIENS code — and the Night 6–7 invasion joins the run's rhythm, yielding the Transponder to Alien Island.
- ~July 8–11, 2026Hero era
The HERO code drops alongside the Hero class (600 Pearls, Holy Sword).
- July 17, 2026Corruption update
A Corruption-themed drop verified through the game's official badge list: a Corruption Dungeon with its own boss badge, and corruption-multiplier challenges running up to 20x. It arrived quietly alongside the CORRUPT code.
- Week of July 19, 2026All-time peak
Concurrent players hit an all-time high of 81,186 — the game is still on its growth curve, roughly eight months after launch.
- July 31, 2026Badge count reaches 61
The official badge list adds We Need To Cook. The badge name is verified; this page does not infer a mechanic that the public description does not establish.
- August 7–14, 2026Decorations event
The official Roblox event schedule lists Decorations as the current event window.
- August 14–21, 2026Survivor Island
The next official event window is Survivor Island. Details beyond the listing remain unconfirmed until the event opens.
The badge trail — what each update actually shipped
This game has no public changelog. What it does have is an official Roblox badge list, and every badge carries a creation date. Developers make badges when the content they reward goes in, so read in date order that list is a changelog by another name — and unlike a wiki, it cannot be edited by anyone but the developer. The original pull was July 26 and the list was re-checked on August 9, 2026, when it contained 61 badges.
| Badges appeared | What shipped | The evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Jan 27–30, 2026 | The core game takes its current shape | Out At Sea, Hooked!, Just Getting Started, the whole Survive 5–90 Days ladder, Rescued! (Day 100), Bonfire 1 through 9, and We Cookin — cook your first chowder with the cooking pot. |
| Feb 7, 2026 | The long game, and a finite map | Magellan (visit all the islands in a single session), Stranded (Day 250) and Gone Missing (Day 500) — proof both that the run continues past 100 and that the island set is countable. |
| Feb 13, 2026 | The Ghost Galleon | Third Bell Rung — defeat the Ghost Galleon three times in a single run. The bell is how players summon it. |
| Feb 16, 2026 | Party sizes get their own badges | All Alone (solo), Blunder Buddies (duo), Three's a party, Four is plenty, and And they were crewmates... for a full group of five. |
| Feb 28, 2026 | The treasure economy | Mr Money Bags (spend 1,000 Doubloons in a single run), Plunderer (open 100 chests in a run) and Money Marauder (open 500 chests). |
| Apr 4, 2026 | Rival rigs | There can be only one — find and defeat all three rival rigs in a single session. There are exactly three. |
| May 2, 2026 | Bonfire speedrunning | Bonfire Master — reach max bonfire before Day 3. The existing Bonfire badges were revised the same day. |
| May 15, 2026 | Guns, and ghost raids by name | Firepower (get a gun from a chest) and They'll be back! (survive a ghost raid) — the badge that names the mid-run raid nights. |
| May 22, 2026 | Challenge mode, six tiers deep | Challenge 1 through Challenge 6, one badge per tier completed. |
| Jun 5, 2026 | The Squid Boss | Arms of Victory — defeat the Squid Boss. |
| Jun 19, 2026 | The Ice Biome | King Of The Snow (defeat the boss in the Ice Biome) and Arctic Rescue (rescue all of the penguins). Note the developer calls it the Ice Biome; players say Ice Region. |
| Jul 10, 2026 | Aliens and the volcano, on the same day | Feeding The Greedy (give Glorbus all the food he needs), Grand Theft UFO (repair and fly away in the UFO), Thinking With Lasers (the mothership's laser mirror puzzle), Get Off My Planet (kill 1,000 aliens), Abandon Ship! (destroy all the alien ships), plus Beat The Heat (the lord of lava boss) and Cooking With Golems (unlock the volcano by tossing three golems in). |
| Jul 17, 2026 | Corruption | Corruption Most Foul (defeat the Corruption Dungeon boss) and three multiplier badges — Time Corrupted at 10x, Too Corrupt to Fail at 15x, The Corruption Consumes at 20x. |
| July 31, 2026 | Badge count reaches 61 | We Need To Cook appears in the official badge list. Its existence and creation date are verified; any step-by-step unlock method still needs in-game confirmation. |
Two honest limits on this method. A badge date is when the developer created the badge, which is usually the day its content shipped but can run slightly ahead of the live drop. And the trail only begins in late January 2026 even though the game was created in November 2025 — anything from those first two months is invisible to this technique.
The July 24 update — the one with no badges
The game's official Roblox listing records its most recent update as July 24, 2026, and no badge has been created since July 17. That combination is unusual: every content drop in the trail above arrived with badges attached, so a patch that ships without any reads as balance work, bug fixes or tuning rather than new places to go and things to kill.
One corroborating detail — the CHAOS code appeared around July 25, immediately after it — the same pattern as ALIENS, HERO and CORRUPT, each of which landed with a content drop rather than on its own schedule. We have not seen patch notes for this one, and we are not going to guess at its contents; when they surface, this entry gets replaced with specifics and a date. See the codes page for the code itself.
What the trail says about the update rhythm
Laid end to end, the badge dates describe a development pattern you can actually plan around:
- Roughly monthly, accelerating. February carried four separate badge waves, March none at all, and the longest quiet stretch of the year runs from February 28 to April 4. July, by contrast, delivered two full content drops seven days apart.
- Bosses arrive one at a time, and lately faster.Ghost Galleon in February, then nothing until the Squid Boss on June 5, the Ice Biome boss on June 19, the lord of lava on July 10 and the Corruption Dungeon boss on July 17. Four of the game's five badge-confirmed bosses landed in a six-week window. See the boss page for what is known about each.
- Content lands in themed regions. Ice Biome, volcano and Corruption Dungeon each arrived as a place with a boss in it — which is the strongest available hint about the shape of whatever comes next.
The award counts also tell you where the frontier is. Only 148 players have earned The Corruption Consumes (a 20x corruption multiplier) and 444 have killed 1,000 aliens, against 27,769 who have simply beaten the Corruption Dungeon boss. The newest content is not just new — most of it is still unsolved.
Where the game stands right now
Snapshot figures from Roblox's public game API, checked on August 9, 2026:
- 247,461,256 total visits.
- 40,691 players online at the snapshot time — a volatile number, not a permanent claim.
- Last platform update: August 8, 2026.
- 27 players per server, though a run itself is one to five.
How to check for an update yourself
You do not have to wait for us, or for any guide site. Three checks, none of which require playing:
- Read the badge list. The game's badge page on Roblox lists every badge with its creation date. A cluster of new ones with unfamiliar names is a content drop, and the names alone usually tell you what it added — "Cooking With Golems" gave up the volcano unlock before any guide site covered it.
- Watch the "Updated" stampon the game's official Roblox page. It moves for every patch, including the silent ones that ship no badges.
- Join the official Discord. Announcements and new codes land there before anywhere else — it is upstream of every site covering this game, including this one.
How to see the next one coming
The developer's official Discord is the upstream for everything — update announcements and new codes land there first, usually together. The pattern so far: major content roughly monthly, codes on 2–3 week windows tied to events. When the next drop lands, our codes pageand this timeline get dated updates — that's the whole job of this page.
FAQ
What was the latest 100 Days At Sea update?
The current official event is Decorations, scheduled August 7–14, 2026. The game's public listing was updated again on August 8, 2026, and its official badge count is now 61 after We Need To Cook appeared on July 31, 2026.
When is the next 100 Days At Sea update?
Survivor Island is the next official event, scheduled August 14–21, 2026. The listing confirms the window, not a complete feature list, so detailed mechanics remain unconfirmed until it opens.
Do updates come with codes?
So far, yes — every code has tracked an update or event (20Pearls with the codes system itself, ALIENS with the alien event, HERO with the Hero class, CORRUPT with the Corruption update). New update, check the codes page.
Is 100 Days At Sea still growing?
The August 9 snapshot showed 40,691 players online and 247,461,256 total visits. That confirms substantial active demand, but one volatile CCU snapshot does not prove a sustained growth trend.
