How to Revive — the Knock-Down Rules

Going down isn't death — until the timer says it is. Here's the confirmed revive flow, the one genuine dispute in the sources, and every verified way to get a Medkit.

The revive flow

1

A player takes lethal damage and is knocked down — not dead, downed, with a bleed-out timer running.

2

A teammate walks over and interacts with them. Clear or kite nearby enemies first — getting downed mid-revive doubles the disaster.

3

Revive lands: they're back up and the run continues.

4

Timer runs out first: they're eliminated from that run. No mid-run respawns — that's what makes late-run knock-downs so expensive.

The one real dispute: is an item required?

The hands-on description we trust treats reviving as a plain interaction. Several fan sites insist a Medkit — or a "defibrillator", an item no trusted source has ever mentioned — is required. Those same sites publish provably invented codes for this game, so we don't repeat their claim as fact. We're running a two-player test to settle it and will stamp the answer here.

Either way, Medkits are real and worth carrying — they're the game's serious heal, and the Medic class (50 Pearls) is dismissed by tier lists for everything except healing, which tells you healing itself matters.

All four verified Medkit sources

Medic class

Starts every run with one Medkit. Costs 50 Pearls in the class shop.

Mukumuku Market

The map-icon vendor sells them — sail over when the icon appears.

Cargo Ship containers

Up to two Medkits per ship among the container loot.

Snorflord

The boss drops one on defeat, and another spawns under the benches near its arena.

FAQ

How do I revive a teammate in 100 Days At Sea?

When a teammate is knocked down, walk over and interact with them before their bleed-out timer runs out — they get back up. If the timer expires, they're eliminated for the rest of that run. Clear nearby enemies first so you don't get downed mid-revive.

Do I need a Medkit to revive someone?

Sources conflict. The tested description we trust says reviving is an interaction, no item required; some fan sites claim a Medkit (or a 'defibrillator', which only they mention) is needed. We're settling it with an in-game test — Medkits are definitely real as healing items either way.

Where do I get a Medkit in 100 Days At Sea?

Four verified sources: pick the Medic class (50 Pearls — starts with one), buy from the Mukumuku Market vendor, loot the containers aboard the Cargo Ship (up to two), or take one from the Snorflord boss — it drops one, and another spawns under the benches near its arena.

What happens if I die playing solo?

With nobody to pick you up, a knock-down effectively ends your run. That's why solo players lean on the Auto Turret and keep the Bonfire lit — prevention is the solo revive strategy.
